Breakfast

I got up early and milked this morning.  The cows were on the turnips straight after milking, and I couldn't resist taking this photo when I went to lock them into their paddock.

In the background are our trees being felled.  It's amazing how fast the trees are coming down.  The men where working today, which surprised me. 

We're still having trouble getting enough fine hot days to get our hay done.  It drizzled a couple of times today, although the temperature did reach 30.3 degrees C.  That's the first time we've hit the 30 degree mark this summer - usually we have day after day at this temperature during summer, but this season has been different.  I suppose that's global warming for you.
