Morning Light
The sunlight was lovely on the mountains today. The tip of Mt. Rainier seen in the center of the photo and the Goat Rocks, to the right shine particularly bright from this lovely light.
The weather has climbed to 40 F / 4 C and the snow has melted in some areas and giant mounds of it are receding. Small amounts of rain, snow and ice pellets are possibilities this weekend.
Perhaps we will spend part of the weekend reading. I am reading Astoria: John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire — A Story of Wealth, Ambition, and Survival, by Peter Stark and Jeff is reading The Industries of the Future, by Alec Ross.
Industries of the Future was recommended by a keynote speaker at the National Skills Coalition Summit that I recently attended in Washington D.C. "Alec Ross was Hillary Clinton's Senior Advisor for Innovation when she was Secretary of State, and he helped craft her groundbreaking open internet agenda (Forbes)."
