A Castle of Sand

After being here a month, I finally talked myself into building a sandcastle. I scouted for a spot, and picked one out on the "old folks" beach, using some rocks and old tree stumps.

You need 6 things to build a castle.
1. Good sand. Sand free of shells and other stuff.
2. Water. In this case, I have 2 five gallon buckets, and have to fill them from the gulf of Mexico.
3. Tools. (I have 50 tools, but only use four of them.) (The rest are just used to impress people.)
4. Props. I pick up flowers and shells for decorations.
5. Luck. You build an arch, hoping it will stay up...and it doesn't. Then, you start over.
6. A bathroom.

Well, 4 out of 6 isn't bad. (No bathroom, and several arch cave-ins.)

4 and a half hours went into this. Since it is low and long, it is actually 2 pictures photo-shopped together. (Don't look too close.)

I stayed out for the sunset. It wasn't perfect, but I did give it a solid 8. It helped that there were 2 professional photographers shooting some models.
