Here we go again

It's time for the English Narcissism Index.

On 5th February 2016 the index was identical to today. This is clearly "bad", or even "very bad" and someone is taking advantage of us. I rule out fake news but only because I know the photographer personally. and he's a really good guy.

It has to be the Remainers using unfair tactics to undermine the Brexit case - "Weak GBP means British goods cheaper abroad and thus higher exports". No doubt the opening shot of Blair's campaign.

Find it very difficult to swallow the criticism of certain Conservative Party members, who have spent the last 40 years niggling about the UK being in the EU, now criticising anyone who expresses an anti Brexit view.

Last night's Trump news conference shows how it is possible to check off all the characteristics of all varieties. The English variety is far more troubling as one can't pin it down.

Well expect the Index to go down soon, not thanks to any threats being put out by Boris or IDS but simply the normal supply/demand cycle. Last year on 22nd February the Index fell by 20%.

Oh - sometime during the night, the pain had more or less gone and was just to a mild ache. Today off to Memmingen again to have the work inspected. All fine and the three stitches removed and with only minor flinching (OK that is Fake) only three loud ouches.

Miserable day, pouring rain when I left home at +2°C and sleeting at 0°C when I got home at midday. Luckily I had picked up my coat left at the surgery yesterday. No nice Memmingen Blips.

However forecast is good for Saturday and great for Sunday - honestly. However it will be many weeks before the Bavarian daffodil crop comes on stream so hope the English daffodil farmers have enough workers to harvest their crop and get them over here.
