Chamonix Aguilles

Its been a good fortnight in the Alps, but now the long drive North. I popped into the Chamonix Valley today as I left to collect some snowshoes that are being donated to a scheme to train Mountain Leaders in Nepal - raising standards but also helping to create autonomy.

As hoped this trip the ankle was able to cope a bit better supported by stiff ski boots, and even the couple of snowshoe days were bearable, I'm also sure lots of blue skies lifted the spirits and the mountains always work their own kind of magic on me.
