Tease

I believe the verb tease - to gently pull out - relates to the use of teasels to draw out the fibres of cloth to soften it / fluff it up. Don't know it the other verb tease - as in to irritate younger brothers by poking them - has a similar etymology.

We went to see Brave this evening. No-one knew much about the film but we had sufficient Orange phones between us to make it viable. It proved to be a gently entertaining film, if a Disney'd view of Scotland is perhaps a bit hackneyed.

As now a computer graphics professional I can't help but de-construct the rendering. Seems Pixar have solved 'the hair problem'; and the rendering of the horse was rather good.

However, it looks like they blew all the money on those and had 70p left over to pay for the modelling of the trees... Either that or who ever modelled them has never seen one.
