Busy Little Hands

I was babysitting our granddaughter again today, so it was an early start, but no hold ups on the A1 this time so it was an easy journey.

I ventured out with her to the supermarket to get some lunch for us and she was brilliant- making friends with customers and cashiers!

After lunch she set to doing some jigsaw puzzles... a set of four Gruffalo themed ones in a box. The puzzles are 12,16,20 and 24 pieces and it took her just under an hour to complete them all. She is so clever at working out where the pieces go and she just persevered until they were complete.

I just snapped away at her little hands manoeuvring the pieces into place.

In other news, after the recent reopening of Tadcaster bridge, this weekend there is a dedication ceremony and carnival to celebrate.... and, irony of ironies, they are having to close the bridge again for the day to ensure crowd safety!
