Trip to Edinburgh

Last year it was York this year its nearer home in Edinburgh!

Ten o'clock train from Perth then a small stroll from Waverley to the Premier Inn on East Market Street. Dropped off the cases and wandered up the Royal Mile stopping in Mrs Macintyres Coffee house for fresh lunch which was lovely. I used some of my Tesco club card points for entry into Camera Obscura which was good fun and it had a great viewing platform on the 5th floor overlooking the castle and the rooftops over to Princes Street. Boys faced screwed up facing the sun. I laugh at this photo them looking glakit:)

We went for a coffee to Nero and listed to a Portuguese busker playing a saw with a bow - he was good. Wandered up to the castle but it closed at 4 in the winter so we came back to the hotel to check in and then headed back up the Royal Mile to Zizi and had a nice meal there (more Tesco vouchers used).

We came back and played a game of Dobble then settled down to sleep but I wasn't managing to sleep much as both boys were snoring at various times throughout the night!!
