Hanging out

We spent the day today with a Syrian couple who we've become really close to and love hanging out with. It was nice being able to invite them for lunch and telling them I'd no idea what we were going to eat because we hardly had any food in the house. That's culturally very incorrect but they feel like part of the family now. I always enjoy cooking with people and learning new things. We made and ate cakes, drank tea (of course) and I learnt a new Syrian card game. And it snowed!
