Corsican Hellebore
Just beginning to flower in the garden is this green hellebore.
Helleborus argutifolius to give it the proper name.
A native of Corsica and Sardinia, it has very spiky, holly like leaves.
I think it is late flowering this year, but usually goes on for a few months.
Have you noticed a very tiny moth on one of the petals.
We have been watching James Martin's French Adventure again this afternoon.
Today he was in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. a town that we like very much, and have visited several times.
I am enjoying seeing different parts of France, and many places we know, but James himself is beginning to get on my nerves, and Mr C has given up counting the number of times he says " Amazing".
He seems to be trying too hard to push the " I'm from Yorkshire" bit.
I wonder what anyone else thinks.
Hope you all have a good weekend, which once again has come around very fast!
Many thanks to Biker Bear for once again hosting Flower Friday.
