Up with the larks

Up early with the Cooriedog walk and caught the early bird.

Blip is full of delightful signs of spring.  It is some time away yet but we seem to picking up speed.  The other day, I witnessed one of these signs with skylarks cavorting in the sky making some wonderful sounds.  They were far too distant to make any shot worthwhile so I just paused and listened.

Today, however, one was perched on top of a future Xmas tree.  Cooriedog was on a lead so was unable to chase it off but she was keen to do so.  So this shot was taken with my right hand while the left hand restrained the dog.  I was delighted to have anything to blip.
