Gopher Plants

We are scheduled to have rain the next two days. I thought the flat light this morning helped to showcase my gopher plants. Since they are so brilliant in the full sun, it is difficult to get a good photo without blowing out the highlights. 

All my little flying friends are hunkered down, as I will be.

I am grateful I didn't wash my windows earlier in the week. There are raindrops streaking down them as I type.
