West Dean Gardens

What a superb day I've had!
Started with a lengthy and delightful phone conversation with my lovely Bluebellsea. Then in the post arrived a CD of music from our youth from a friend in Canada.
Next, to West Dean Gardens for a walk on this beautiful spring-like day. Then home to cook in preparation for dear friend Anna's arrival tomorrow for a couple of nights.
A truly special day, thus far.

Here is a collage of carpets of spring flowers and a sign I spotted in the Shop.
Extra is of a face-to-face with a sheep and, looking upwards, a very noisy Rookery where nesting was in full swing.
