A new (to me) dog friendly venue in Loughborough

Got off the bus with Basil in Loughborough High Street, Walking past what used to be ViceVersa and now seemed to be populated with vintage clothing, furniture and a bagel bar, we went in.

Very friendly staff who welcomed Basil. I ordered decaff tea and a simple gluten free bagel with butter and marmite. Very reasonable prices too.

Opening last November, eclectic loboro describes itself as a 'trendy new bagel bar, coffee shop and quirky vintage clothing store.' I didn't explore the 'hot-desking spaces in the basement' intended to attract students and creatives. It was quite enough to sink back into one of the comfy vintage sofas to enjoy my tea and bagel.

On a more serious note, it aims in the future to employ homeless people in the area.

Still experimenting with multi-exposure, this time with the x-t2.

A chat with Aziz, home on the bus and then out to visit Colin with flyers for the Bach Choir concert on 8th April. A big and costly occasion - J S Bach's St John Passion. We learned last night that the Leicester Philharmonia is only putting on Messiah at the De Montfort Hall the same night. We need bums on seats.
