Clasp...

So I re-did my watch strap elastic last night.  The strap was getting rather loose so I got some elastic on Monday with intention of replacing it.

First attempt....Waaaayy too tight.
Second and current attempt...  Tighter but still a bit nippy.

Got me to thinking on how to go about changing it to make  it either adjustable or easier to remove the watch.

I did a search online for a wooden clasp but got as far as wooden strap plans.  Open to ideas.
