50 years

The University of Salford is celebrating 50 years since the Queen handed it the Charter of creation in 1967. Prior to that it had been a Technical College. 

A couple of buildings have been dressed appropriately, including that I have blipped. Did those lads having a bit of a laugh with their "feasant plucker" sign expect the photograph to be blown up to this scale and displayed to public view on the Crescent. They will be in their mid to late 60's now I would guess.

I liked the sign in the extra: "the trick is to climb the career ladder, not the word".
