Old Haunts

Nearly six years on, I thought my birthday was a good excuse to get our original Cairo skyscape back into the journal. It met us every morning when we opened the curtains on our early visits here nearly six years ago.

It was an extremely cold, wet and dull day all day keeping me in until now, the late afternoon. Dd will have to work late so we are postponing celebrations until tomorrow when she is off. Probably go to Hana's for a meal and maybe have a nice lunch tomorrow somewhere.
