OUTBACK AUSTRALIA...Back When #64

... we have been out and about all day and found without a pic thought as we watched a doco on TV re now a train trip from Adelaide (my old home town) North across Australia to Darwin, some 3,000 kilometres in the Northern Territory- The Ghan was worth an entry to my Back When Series.

In particular when they showed some film of the original Ghan!
A magnificent old steam train which started in 1929 but then only covering part of the distance.
