mints on the bedspread
Today's plot-transfer wood-cargo was both greater in volume than yesterday's and much denser, given that it was all freshly-deconstructed raised bed, still soggy from the ground, whereas yesterday's stuff had been outside but had spent a few days inside the shed and a morning out in the sun to dry them out a bit. Today's load managed to slide about a bit but was transferred mostly intact. We finally met the allotment-man at the new plot, after which the willow, rhubarb and raspberries were re-planted. My face also managed to get very lightly burnt at some point.
