Lovely, gentle

and very welcome rain for most of the day over much of the North Island. It will have dampened some of the very dry forest  areas and brought relief to some drought stricken areas. Do hope some of it gets into the Christchurch area ravaged by fires tomorrow.  So terribly sad for those who have lost their homes.
