Tamworth

Very last minute train booking as I'm not allowed to drive right now because of my medication. Time for a break and a change of scenery.

Tamworth appears to have four platforms but it's a very very busy station and I have not seen so many trains passing at high speed through station before. Apparently there is such a thing as the Tamworth triangle which is something to do with passenger accidents.

Got up north by about half 10 in the evening having set off at half six. My Dad wanted to pick me up but I got a taxi home from Wigan and it only cost £11 which wasn't bad for the length of the journey compared to Bristol prices!
