Made for each other

Yet more snowdrops enchanted us on our walk this morning. These were part of a carpet we came across in a glade hidden away in a wood. They looked particularly appealing growing next to the winter aconites. On the walk we heard skylarks singing for the first time this year and quite a few other birds beginning to find their voices as well as the tapping of a spotted woodpecker. It almost felt as if spring had sprung!
