House hunting

Up on the cliffs the fulmars are starting to pair up and choose their nesting sites.  Lots of shouting and squabbling, perhaps it really is spring!

Another bright and sunny day.  No hats, gloves, waterproofs or even fleeces required!  

Book club tonight and we are discussing Amy Liptrot's book The Outrun.  Well worth a read.  Part autobiography, part natural history, her descriptions of Orkney are wonderful and her strength and bravery admirable.
