Shadowy Snowdrop

For our outing today we took the Flumlet back to Craigies Farm, a place full of entertainment and adventure for children. We looked at the pigs (three Saddlebacks with litters) the chickens (but, disappointingly, their  laying boxes were all empty), the ponies (Ben having his fetlock hair trimmed), sheep (two black, one white) and two kids (of the caprine variety - plenty of the human type) between playing on the outdoor playpark, having lunch and watching aeroplanes fly over.

During our visit we explored a piece of wild ground next to the sheep field, finding a patch of snowdrops, some of which had glossy green foliage, (unlike the usual grey) which I think may be Galanthus plicatus. Although taken against the bright sky and at an odd angle, resulting in a technically poor photo, I like this blip.
