Cambridge in the Rain

Today we went to Cambridge and after a fairly dry morning there was a heavy rain storm. I had taken a waterproof coat, but in seconds my trouser legs were soaked. I took this picture of some punts on the River Cam when it was pouring down, hence the smudges on the picture from rain on the lens and because it was such a cold, wet and windy day I have turned it to black and white.

I did have a successful day shopping and bought two padded gilets, one pink and one blue from the Mountain Warehouse as well as some socks. We came home via Scotsdales as I needed to stock up with bird seed. Yoga this evening and then hopefully I will be able to catch-up with all your journals.
