Red in beak and claw

Found all these feathers in the garden early evening yesterday. This morning a wonderful sparrowhawk was at the top of the ivy covered fence, tearing at her kill - . one of the pigeons who hang around hopefully under the feeders. She must have stashed it up there overnight, or the foxes would have stolen it. Couldn't get a pic without scaring her away, but I watched her through binoculars for ages until she finished and flew off. Impressive bird!
