Fornalutx

A lovely circular walk today. Took the old and very touristy tram to Sóller ( has to be done) and after coffee on the square walked to the lovely village of Biniaraix. After yet more coffee wandered up the hill to Fornalutx. We're fond of this village, reputed to be the prettiest in Mallorca, having had a great week here with our family in May 2010. Lunch followed, then back to Sóller on the footpath via Binibassi. This allowed me to take a few pictures of one of the best reasons to visit Mallorca at this time of year - the almond blossom. I took many other photographs today but it's hard to do justice to the vistas. There was really thick cloud on the mountain tops but in the valley we were warm.

Tram back to the Port for some relaxation before going out for a further wander this evening. We won't need much to eat after the big lunch.
