Whitecraigs Golf Club, Giffnock

Given my current situation, I used trains to visit my dad in Mearnskirk Hospital, affording me the opportunity to walk from Whitecraigs Railway Station to my mum and dad's house, passing the local golf club which my dad has been a member of for 71 years!

The visit to see my dad was hard, and the only thing of importance is to make sure he is comfortable and not in pain.

Again, I cannot commend enough the compassion and professionalism of the NHS staff, they are amazing.

I am staying over in Newton Mearns tonight and will visit again tomorrow.
