Behind Bars

Saw this sad little calf with its mummy today.
Think it just wanted to play out and maybe run wild.
They did look really trapped in but the barn door was open.
My walk up to the farm this morning was so noisy, full of bird song and the sheep were going bonkers!
Half expected to see lambs being born as there was such a racket.
Nothing on the newborns yet but it can't be far off.
I walked on my own as Mr P went to his hospital appointment in Leeds.
I was going to an appointment of my own in Ilkley, so we were heading in opposite directions.
Going to see my Granddaughters tonight before they go skiing for a week, setting off tomorrow after school.
