The Royal Entrance

King Neptune, the ruler of the seas, makes his grand entrance for the "Crossing the Line" ceremony. If it pleaseth His Majesty we will be permitted to cross the equator with no hassle from him, but three arduous rituals have to be carried out first.
(Given that this is retrospective, I can now state that they were, and we have - crossed the equator without hassle.)
