Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey #9
Met up with my dear friend MrsToad and spent a couple of pleasant hours walking along the beach, catching up on news and blipping!
This blip is of one of the two bridges at this end of the beach. I'm standing on the larger bridge which crosses the river Nodwydd (Needle), the smaller bridge crosses a deep drainage ditch. The small structure to the right of the photo has a memorial plaque to Hywel ap Owain Gwynedd, 'the Poet Prince' who was killed in battle here in 1170.
In the distance you may be able to see the sea which had white breakers due to the strong northerly wind.
