Not a red rose

Sunshine again today and a decision to go and visit the cathedral this afternoon for the first time in a long time. The blue skies lasted until after lunch and the light in the cathedral was lovely particularly on the glass, although I am not sure that my shots entirely did it justice. The imp was spotted eventually - I thought I knew where it was but it was not anywhere near as high as I remembered and then another hunt for Katherine Swynford's tomb. Having read two novels about her and the second fairly recently, I was interested to see her memorial. Hugely understated and not particularly obvious in its location, someone had at least marked it with a rose but of the wrong colour - white and not Lancastrian red.
