Seeing Double?

It was an incredibly windy night and still so in the morning - so I wrapt up well to go do the chickens. In fact the wind was ok  and the temperature mild! The strength of the wind we'd had was apparent as the heavy carpet covering 2/3 the width and 1/5 the length of my plot had been blown right off onto the plot of my neighbor's! Took me ages to pull it back as it is so heavy and unwieldy! Surprisingly most of the cardboard and wool sheets covering the middle of my plot was still in place!
Sister and I went to Waitrose to get puddings and a few other things - not least a replacement GreenPan frying pan whose non-stick surface she managed to destroy last time she stayed! I also got a new ironing board cover - maybe it will encourage me to tackle my ironing pile!
On the way back we stopped at the garden Centre Aquatics shop to get fish food. This is where I got my blip - I do love their exotic fish! We then checked out the garden centre and we both bought seedling potatoes! I limited myself to 4 of each of 2 earlies and 3 maincrop - I do so love growing them but always put in too many and then they just sprout in the dark of my cupboards!
Milkshake continues her exploration of my house and again tried to find FatCat in the attic! She had cunningly hid herself in the folds of my duvet so Milkshake couldn't spot her from her position at the top of the stairs - she is not brave enough to venture further in ...yet! I must get her a collar with a little bell so she doesn't sneak up on FatCat and scare her!
