Packing day 1

A long day.  Boxes everywhere, it's hard to move around the place, the living room is about the clearest area.  The cats are at least finding it interesting, perhaps a little too much so!

A nice team of people here all day working very hard.  The cats and I hid out in hubby's office - we set it aside as a 'safe' zone for them and stuff that is not moving down.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) another team will be here to wrap the furniture and load everything onto the truck;  the e.t.a. in California is Tuesday next week but that will depend on the weather and what's going on with the scary situation at the Oroville Dam.
