Heart--Broken

The sun was shining (kinda) so my valentine and I took off for a hike in the woods.   I especially wanted to see how my favorite huge tree was holding up.....sadly, it wasn't!
Since we walked out here last, this big dying beauty fell over and created this natural arch...but I sure do wish it was still living.
I've brought my grandchildren here for years to see how big it was....here it is in 2013 when Caroline stayed with us....you can see it was nearly done even then.
But, we are having a lovely day together, and Happy Valentine's day to all of you lovers out there!!
