Monday: Hoover Dam

We took a bus tour out to the Hoover Dam today, about 45 mins outside of Las Vegas. The dam itself was great, it's such an impressive structure. The drive there and back was pretty long though as we stopped off at endless hotels, picking up and dropping off passengers. Our hotel was first and last........

It made for a bit of a rush this evening when we were booked for dinner and a show. We made it fine, though, and opted to have dinner after the show so that we didn't have to rush. We saw 'The Rat Pack Is Back', a tribute to the Rat Pack (featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr - they didn't bother with Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop, whom nobody remembers anyway). The show was great - we loved it.
