Horse at Buttermere

This beautiful horse was enjoying the sunshine in a field above Buttermere lake. Today's blustery wind was quite fierce at the Gatesgarth Farm end of the lake, and his long mane was being blown in all directions. While I braced myself to take this photo, he seemed to be in his element.
