Beachcombing

The noisy waves the past few days seem to have washed up quite a lot of stuff on the beach. As well as lots of mussel shells there were also quite a few of these little bundles, looking like bubblewrap but actually whelk egg cases. This was the largest clump I found - about the size of a small football.
