George & Dragon, Kendal

We spent a few hours putting the lounge back together now that the paint has dried (and looks better after 3 coats). 

An early lunch and then a drive to Kendal for the last Art Appreciation session.  We considered at the Turner prize and looked at (and voted for) the shortlisted pieces for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. It will be interesting to see which is selected.  


The light was lovely today so we drove into the Lakes after our course - Windermere, Ambleside, Skelwith Bridge, Coniston and home.
