Just Missed

"This will probably be the last mist that gets Blipped this year", said The Boss as he clicked away this morning. It was 1 degree C but the days are getting warmer and the grass is growing and there are a lot of signs that Spring has Sprung, in this neck of the woods.
Now that's a funny statement for a start. Where does one find "The Neck" in a forest?
As a dog of the world I realise (but show no interest in) that "necking" may take place in a forest. The Boss fondly remembers past events along these lines but as The Bossess is a loyal follower of these blipping events this subject is probably best avoided.
Lake Wanaka has a neck. That is a narrow bit of land between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea and makes perfect sense but forests woods ? well I ask you. Err yes I think I did.

Thank you all for your concern as to my mental health after a possible concussion case caused by the ineptitude of The Bossess's bouncy ball chucking. Please understand that I am fine (with occasional showers). And no blame should be directed at The Bossess. She is after all a girl (like me) and should always be forgiven slight transgressions.
