To the Tate to view the Elton John photo collection. A brilliant exhibition, very well structured and displayed. And what an articulate collector is Mr John. He gives incisive commentary for several of his selection. And a film gives you a glimpse into his 18,000 sq ft (!) house where all the photographs are kept ad displayed.

Very pleased to have seen it. Lots of ideas. Lots of gloom and despondency that the level of these photographers was so high in terms of skill and quality.

Oh, and also a quick look around the new extension to the Tate Modern.
