'Winter Blossom'
It's been a bright, sunny, cold day...nice to be able to tidy up the garden a little..so many buds on the Hellebores.
This afternoon I went to the library (with my camera) as I'd spotted this Blossom in the car park last week. It was 4 pm and the light was beautiful.
This evening, no line dancing, I went to the flicks. Saw 'Hacksaw Ridge' starring Andrew Garfield, Teresa Palmer, Vince Vaughn, Luke Bracey and Sam Worthington. A biographical war drama about WW11 experiences of Desmond Doss, an American pacifist combat medic who was a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, refusing to carry or use a weapon. He was the first man in American history to receive the Medal of Honour without firing a shot during the Battle of Okinawa. Directed by Mel Gibson. I really enjoyed this film....6 BAFTA nominations, winning Best Editing BAFTA. Some really good movies on at the moment.
