Swinging from the Chandelier

MONDAY

Well not exactly........... but it was good to see all the scaffolding removed and the new Chandelier in place at Oakwell Hall, Birstall this morning.

New computer controlled lighting, alarms, timber treatment and ceiling works are virtually complete and the hall will be ready for its first wedding ceremony of 2017 in just over a week's time.

The period furniture is still to be returned from storage and put back in place before the hall reopens to the public around Easter time.

The extra shows a photo of the main hall taken four weeks ago with all the contractor's scaffolding in place.
