Hanworth at hometime

It was lovely to leave work at 4 in the daylight, and for it to still be light as I approached home. The sun was huge and pink and i wished I had my proper camera, nevertheless I still pulled over and took a few pictures.

Mollie has been at work today, and had cycled in. Jon left early, as he is in Hertfordshire doing some tree work today and tomorrow. I got in for 8, so was able to get away early. And now my almost week off begins. Not that it is going to be a relaxing week. I have checked the route again, now even the aa route planner says 5 hours. It must know I don't drive very fast. I am nervous about this long drive to a strange and very big place, but excited too. If I manage it, then it will be an achievement. It's the sort of drive only husbands do in my mind. If I can get a signal in my Travelodge tomorrow then I'll update you.

Now I'm going to watch The Halcyon, and get an early night.
