Morning Moon at Sunrise

Just before the moon merged into the clouds, it floated above the Alpenglow on the peaks to the west of us, like a bubble.

The wind has continued to blast the mountains today. David and I tried to beat the half term crowds with an early morning skin (walking uphill on skis) and were quite relieved when we reached the restaurant. It was so cold, we turned round and skied straight back down again. Not much of a sortie, but I had a big nap this afternoon so we must have expended some energy!
