Heron at Caen Hill Locks (Lock 33)

The plan is to make Valentine cupcakes at the club tomorrow. I have made red velvet cake hearts for the centres in readiness. The therapy dogs are in tomorrow and will join members in portrait photographs so cake making maybe an activity too much.

After baking, I went out with Millie. It is so much milder. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk and met lots of people to chat with or walk part way with. I spoke to one of the lock keepers who confirmed that the Caen Hill flight now has Otters!

Two friends claim to have seen an Otter recently and an Otter shaped animal shot across my path last September. It hadn't occurred to me it could be an Otter. Perhaps it was!
