A bit early
Thailand 2017, Day 24
Another early morning start with a long walk as the sun came up.
I know it's a bit early for Valentine's Day, but I rather liked these little flower pot hearts which are next to the beach, a few yards along from our bungalow.
We walked back to Paradise Lost where we had lunch yesterday, settled our debt, and ate our lunch there again. We even had a pichet of wine! Very civilised. We also shared a warm chocolate cake with Italian vanilla ice-cream (we don't usually have puds but couldn't resist). Delicious.
Later on we watched Mr Siberia giving a yoga lesson on the beach (see extra). I don't think he charges for his lessons, and he lives on next to nothing, sleeping in a little tent on the beach. Outside are his bunch of bananas, a fresh pineapple, a little bowl to eat from, a cup, and a flask. Although he has virtually nothing (well, here anyway, I don't know about in Siberia) he called C over and offered him his cup to share his drink of tea. In the evening we managed to get a good enough wifi connection to Skype our family in Taiwan. The first time we had spoken to them since we parted on Koh Jum about 2 weeks ago, and it was lovely to see them once again.
My other extra is a butterfly that was on the jungle path.
Before bed we packed our bags (not a lot to pack to be honest) as tomorrow we have booked a long-tailed boat to take us to our next destination, Koh Libong.
