A little ray of sunshine

Between patients today I have been reading Tom Mitchell's The Penguin Lessons. A fabulous tale about the time the author unintentionally adopted  a Megellan penguin whilst working in South America. The story had me reminiscing about our travels there 12 years ago when we visited Peru, Buenos Aires, Iguazu, and finally down to Patagonia, ending in the Valdes Peninsula where there are colonies of these fascinating birds. For me this was a pre digitally photography time so I have a large photo album of our travels to flick through. No doubt, if I was away for 2 months now, I would have 10 times as many photos to sort though at the end of the trip!
