Looking for inspiration
I’ve been thinking about creativity and inspiration and where they might come from. I find that looking through books or magazines helps, sometimes watching documentaries or just talking about ideas can be useful and fun, even copying other peoples ideas is a good place to start and today I’ve done all of the above.
My blip is a copied idea from a book, Abelardo Morell, by Richard B. Woodward. It’s a book of Abelardo Morell’s photographs, in one he folds the pages of a book of Dürer paintings. I’ve done the same but used a book of Lucian Freud paintings, his in in black and white, mine is in colour.
I might just pinch (appropriate) more of his ideas in the future!
The extra blip is the result of looking for inspiration and seeing that on my kitchen worktop I had eggs, tomatoes and glue, and I thought they might work well together.
