The smallest things

Again another cold and rainy day but very relaxing. Making bread , eating belated birthday cake and enjoying family coming round has been nice.
Now for a curry for tea and a film to round the evening off and of course dog walks to blow the cobwebs away.
It's the smallest of things which can make a lovely day and as I took this picture it occurred to me that I'm looking at the smallest of things around me. This is the clasp of the scarf I got for Christmas which was just beside me as I got the camera ready. Sometimes seems as if the picture chooses the photographer rather than the other way round.
